Kris Zielinski

Founder and ISV Docs Author

For almost 17 years, Kris has worked with a single product: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (formerly Dynamics NAV).

He started at IT.integro, the biggest Business Central partner in Eastern Europe. There, he worked with over 90 Business Central partners across Europe, North America, and Asia. He built a multilingual documentation platform for global Business Central customers with ClickLearn. He was a member of the team that translated the Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 user guide. He also recorded many training videos about Business Central and the company's apps.

For global Business Central implementations, he wrote UAT scripts and SOPs, and helped document the company's methodology for international projects, based on Microsoft Sure Step. He wrote the website content that presented the company's full expertise in global implementations and helped grow sales in that segment. He co-authored several agreement templates, including an ITIL-based service agreement, together with the internal instructions for implementing it in the organization. This included aligning the terminology used across the company with Microsoft and ITIL standards.

He founded Docs4Apps because, in a market where industry knowledge sells, written content is critical. Quality documentation is what proves a product's overall quality, and AI now amplifies that effect. He is the author of complete end-user documentation sets for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central partners. His work covers setup guides, procedures, conceptual articles, troubleshooting, and field-level reference. He writes to the Microsoft Writing Style Guide and Business Central's own documentation conventions, so customers get documentation that reads like Microsoft Learn.

He writes that documentation in Markdown, keeps it under version control in GitHub or Azure DevOps, and publishes it to the platform the customer chooses, preferably DocFX.
